As a site visitor, I need event dates written the British way so that the site reads as a UK broker's site.

Editors type event date labels US-style ("May 13, 2026 – May 14, 2026"). The site is British, so visitors should read "13 – 14 May 2026".

Events

  • The events list, the event page and its "other events" tiles show the date label in UK order.
  • A label that is not a date ("Date TBC", "Autumn 2026") is shown exactly as typed.
  • Events still sort by date, including ranges whose year is only on the end ("October 11 - October 14, 2026") and compact ranges ("May 13-14, 2026").
  • The events admin shows a UK-style placeholder and a "Visitors see: …" preview under the date label.

News

  • Stories dated the same day list the most recently added one first, on the public page, the admin page and the admin API.

Out of scope: rewriting the stored labels. They are converted when shown.
